Chandra Teja Bavandla is a seasoned Software Engineer III at FactSet with over 5 years of relevant experience in the industry. He is a full-stack developer who is proficient in building data pipelines, REST APIs, and user interfaces. His interest in distributed systems and problem-solving has made him a valuable asset to the team at FactSet. Currently, Chandra is working on building applications for financial content collection and distribution at FactSet. He is responsible for the automation of content collection and cloud transformation. He is proficient in using various technologies such as AWS, SQL, Flask, Redux, RabbitMQ, Redis, Docker, Pandas, ReactJS, and Golang. Prior to joining FactSet, Chandra worked at ACS as a Software Engineer. During his tenure, he developed user interfaces and APIs for clients in healthcare and finance using React with Redux and Flask REST. He also analyzed and improved web page performance by reducing HTTP calls and restructuring APIs. Chandra implemented consumers that would fetch, process and store data, and publish messages to RabbitMQ. He also implemented asynchronous task setup to run tasks on the background for optimization models and data migration tasks, using Celery and Redis. Chandra has also developed a frontend application from scratch for a semiconductor industry client using React with Redux. He built custom reusable components for Form elements, Tables, Visualization plots, etc. as per the UX designs. He implemented tests for frontend using Cypress and unit tests for backend using Pytest. Chandra holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from Keshav Memorial Institute of Technology. He is a proactive learner and is always looking for new technologies and techniques to improve his skills and knowledge.
